Unsuspectingly to you, I look through these walls
As you weakly smile and speak to them
What would I do, my heart calls
If I entertained my every whim
You would smile and laugh every day
Your deep eyes would glitter for all to see
When you decided to sit down to play
And, the most outstanding applause would come from me
When you had heartaches and plights
Suppressing them would not be the key
You would shut out the lights
And, tell them in bed to me
You would whisper secrets and laugh in my ear
Look and smile knowingly, lovingly at me
And, carry not a trace of fear
That you are the only one my eyes see
Yet, I am not able to say your name, dear Jane
Only a sad introduction at most
And, that is not enough to keep me sane
So, here is to you a sad and sorry toast
The most I can ever hope give you
If I complied with my every whim
I would say my dear, I love you
My only wish is: to stop and begin again.
