I have a lot lke that, where start so have somewhere to work from and write a lot of notes. Arthur will feature prominently as the hero of that one!
I had not thought about Mrs E and her caro sposo being involved, but of course they WILL read the society news in the papers, I wonder if she will realise? Oh, Jane must write to Emma of course!

I have re-read all your other Brandon scandal novels while you posted Heiress in hiding and I just love how you wove madeleine into the other stories without giving too much away. It is truly satisfying that Adam and Madeleine finally get their own happily ever after.
I am so pleased that you are finally better! Can't wait to see your future projects taking shape. Will Stoat not return for libby's luck? I thought he might.
Oh and who said dwiggies don't enjoy noir cyberpunk? If written by you I certainly would.
Once again: thank you for your excellent stories!!!

Jane and Caleb will most assuredly stir up the Court! Will a certain parson and his worse half see their names on the guest list and faint from the shock? I would love to see Pru, Gervaise, Aunt Mouser, Diana and all the rest again too! Simmy as Holmes would be great too. I wonder what might happen if he met some of the younger Brandons at university or Diana? Your characters have so much life attached to them that I always see them in action of some sort. I was thinking about espionage during the Revolution or Civil Wars. and how a third party might try using it against all side. I hope you do find a place to post your cyberpunk stories...... more reading material is always a gift. :)

Re: more charity school to follow...

Yes, indeed, there are 4 more Charity School stories mapped out and I have started Daisy's Destiny, in which Daisy will be getting a nice bit of schadenfreude own-back on her unpleasant relatives, and Mr Nettleby returns from abroad. Then there will be Libby's Luck, and then the splitting of the twins as they grow up in Felicity's Fashions and Philippa's Phaeton. I was wondering about one with a girl we haven't yet met as Francine's Fear which would crossover with The unwilling Viscount and bring in Stoat if anyone remembers him. But there again, I might not.

I have two other series which have plot outlines, one 'the diaries of a chaperone for hire' and the other 'the seven stepsisters'. There's also two more Georgian Gambles to go and a possible spinoff re Jemima and Jenny. Jane and Caleb will remain in London after the intertwined adventures of 'Jane and the Dangerous Draisine', 'Jane and the impossible lady' and 'Jane and the deadly wagers' which is the work in progress.

I apologise for the lack of productivity; first I blame my doctor for giving me inappropriate medication which has had me struggling with feeling like I'm going senile for a year. Secondly I blame the Australian flu which my other half and I are struggling out of, and I lost a week somewhere early in January, and can't concentrate too hard right now. But I am writing. Unfortunately for DWG some of what I'm writing, just to keep my hand in, is a series of short stories in a noir cyberpunk genre and my central character is a professional assassin with a black sense of humour [it went with the flu somehow] so I don't suppose you'd be interested in seeing them

Jane has received a royal command to turn up for the season and show off that demi-parure, Caleb is showing a lot of interest in owning a Draisine aka Pedestrian Curricle aka hobby-horse, Simmy has an old friend whom Jane runs into, and meanwhile there is a lady whose accent occasionally shows hints of the Parish of Bow, an an unwholesomely high number of people inheriting from suddenly dead relatives.
I was thinking of doing Simmy at University as a sort of Georgian Sherlock Holmes when I ran out of Jane and Caleb ideas
Meantime I've been writing some humourous noir cyberpunk short stories to amuse myself but I haven't posted any because I'm not too sure if they'd be suitable here.

The Brandon family does have a flair for finding (or falling) into situations and I am sure the future generations will keep up the tradition. How about river pirates on the Mississippi, or having the English branch reconnect with Henry s decendents in the future? I can see them as explorers, making connections wherever they went. I would love to see some of your other characters too. Jane and Caleb, for instance, could have great grandchildren who are Pinkertons Then there is the Underground Railroad, a Brandon might be involved in that too. You were thinking about an engineer, how about a doctor as well? I will lookforwaed to reading what your Muses inspire you to write. Many thanks! :)
