Looking for a book I've read before: Darcy's father goes to London to his doctor and gets bad news about his health, then seeks out a friend; don't remember if it is Mr. Gardiner or Mr. Bennet but meets Elizabeth when he comes to dinner and decides she's perfect for his son, then returns to Pemberley and sends Darcy to London to meet her.
