Has anyone made it through one of her books?

Really love one of her books?

Please share your ways with me, because I'm having real trouble.

Its the sequel to the Bar Sinister/Mr Darcy takes a wife. (No I didn't read the first one)

As this was a gift, I would like to finish it, but I'm not sure I can!
