Mariafaith's story By Every Civility in his Power involves Darcy returning to Netherfield after Hunsford, in order to speak with Jane and repair his mistake in separating her from Bingley. Darcy has a couple of heartfelt conversations with Jane, and Mrs. Bennet misinterprets the nature of his interest and begins eagerly promoting an imagined Jane/Darcy match.
