Question about Lise’s story

I’d very much like to avoid a sad ending in the mood I’m in. Has anyone read or can anyone tell me if the our excellent author Lise’s End of Innocence is a happy ending? I don’t mind angst along the way, but will it tie up just as happily? I don’t think I can handle it otherwise.

Am intrigued by the start.
