What do you call that room...?

I need help. What do you call that room that regency houses would have, where you would prepare and hang herbs, arrange flowers, make your home-made perfumes, etc? It is right at the edge of my mind, but I can't quite bring it up, and a google search for "what do you call a room for preparing herbs" doesn't help at all. Thank you so much!
