If you want a specific recommendation, I quite like "A Hit, A Very Palpable Hit", by Shemmelle. It's a light P&P fanfic, very funny, and in the style of Georgette Heyer. It's here in the archives. It's the first thing which came to mind, but it was immediately followed by dozens more 'specific suggestions'.
