I had to smile at Sir Walter with thoughts of "his" Elizabeth although reversion to form, of course, came quickly. The wedding seemed ideal for Anne, Frederick and extended family as did the idyllic close-by wedding trip for the couple. Glad she had her uncle give her away.
Lady Rachel did appear to have lived a long lovely life, and the bequest was a perfect touch...It has potential for many different uses.
"Both would be going on the next tour of duty with their men." Great for this!
