I eagerly read all your stories about Mr Collins. They are so relaxing and with the right balance between humour and mystery

I love reading descriptions of their marriage. Indeed, Charlotte is a great wife. She is almost raising another child, but makes sure to not let him feel slighted or patronised. It would be hard for most women to feel passion for an endearing child-man, but affection and care are natural feelings.

It sounds as if your Mr Collins would have even odds of becoming an excellent father. His need to teach and interact, combined with his lack of cruelty, could make him spend hours and hours with a child, instructing them on the proper repotting of house plants, with all details on the appropriate size of the pot, the analogy of earth to fertiliser, the right corner of the garden so that no direct sun disturbs the seeds, and the right distance between plants when moving them to their final place.
