Great story! I once fell in a hole in the street in college. (Fortunately, I wasn't hurt apart from a bruised ego). It freaked out my friends who were with me. They said that one moment I was walking with them, and the next, I had completely disappeared. After getting over their shock (by me calling out from the ground, "Hey, help me up!"), they couldn't bring that incident up without falling on the floor laughing!
