Thank you, everyone, for your comments! I am glad you enjoyed the story.

In response to a couple of questions:

1) I did write a sequel back in 2009, thinking, as it seems that many of you did, that as recent high school graduates, they weren't going to get married and live happily ever after any time soon, and I wanted to know what was next. However, I'd have to revisit that story--of all the ones I've written, it was the one I was the least satisfied with, so I may need to revise it before posting it.

2) Regarding Will's mother--yes, she does continue to be a problem for Liz and Will. That prompted me to write a story about his mother to explore what made her the woman she became, and really delves into her relationship with her husband, her children, and with George and Liz. That story, in contrast to my sequel, is one that I was very pleased with. However, it covers some heavy, mature subject matter, and wouldn't be suitable for this site.
