As a person with a degree of social anxiety, I'm enjoying how you're representing Darcy's struggle to become more personable in society. In many stories, it seems to me that the transition from awkward, proud Darcy to perfect gentleman can be a little abrupt. I feel as though this more subtle, hard-fought transition is very true to character, and human nature in general. Elizabeth's reaction seemed pretty true to life as well... some who are naturally at ease socially may have a tough time understanding why others get so anxious around people. But true to her good nature and reasoning mind, she is slowly figuring out that it isn't directed at her, and that she might even be able to ease his transition a little. :-)
