You've left it in such a lovely spot too, the perfect place to get the imagination running while answering the important question of if Bingley got waylaid by his sisters, and if Caroline did succeed in making herself ridiculous (I imagine the gossip spread through London fairly quickly). The Bennets are all wonderfully in-character, and Darcy has managed to remove that uncomfortable stick in the most delightful way.
