Autumn! I'm so excited to see you back here again, and this story! I well remember reading The Nature of the Beast, and how much fun that was. This looks to be just as good, if not better. Such a great start. I love the fact that Darcy thinks of her as "his" dragon, and I'll bet anything that once he's well enough he's going to start going out at night, looking for her. Dare I hope he sometimes finds her?
Lizzy's plight would seem terrible if it wasn't for the fact that she apparently likes being a dragon. I can see all the problems it would cause, but I wonder if she even wants to be released from this "curse"? And will Darcy want her released, once he knows the truth? After all, she seems to make an amazing dragon.
I kept wondering how Lizzy managed to ask for help in her dragon form, but then I remembered last chapter, that she and Mr. Bennet could communicate telepathically, so I suppose that must have been it. She had to return to Longbourn to communicate with him about what happened, and then he would have to do what was necessary to alert Darcy's friends. I look forward to seeing what explanation is offered. I do hope that Darcy's leg is okay, though if he's crippled for life, that could add a really interesting dimension to the story.
So glad you're posting here, and I look forward to seeing what's next!
