Truly a magnificent story. At the end of Chapter 7 I was sure Darcy knew who Elizabeth was. He couldn't help but know the connection if he took care of the Wickham/Lydia situation for James. Then you showed us that James wasn't initially involved, Jones was the one to bring Darcy in. That made sense that Darcy didn't know. I am glad. If he know the connection the Bennets had to James, then his suggesting to Bingley to return to Netherfield and Jane had the distinct odor of only doing so because of the connection, and not for love. Now I feel better about what Darcy did. Now for him to find out. Will he bring Georgiana to also meet Lady Elizabeth? I hope so.
