Oh this was really fun! I wonder how far you could push it, having Darcy being the exact opposite to canon (only when it comes to resisting Elizabeth). I imagine scenes with Miss Bingley, the courting, Wickham, Lady Catherine expressing her displeasure and facing an immovable wall when it comes to Darcy's opinion and a speedy resolution to all usual events that are in the book. It would be hard to create strife, but it could be done in the form of Elizabeth not trusting that Darcy likes her for her substance rather than just a pair of eyes, so he'd have to really get to know her an appreciate her for herself. I imagine that around the end scene, he won't even find her eyes being the best thing about her, even though he still finds them enchanting.
