I enjoyed the scene from The Watsons--I love stories that begin with an act of kindness, and have always wished we could read all of Emma and Mr. Howard's story. I can also just imagine Mr. Bennet responding to Mr. Bingley as teasingly as you wrote it. I wonder if he would eventually tease Mr. Darcy...
Having just re-read Persuasion, I've wondered what Captain Harville thought of Wentworth's odd behavior during/after the White Hart scene. It would actually be interesting to read an entire story from his POV.
