Bravo, Anne! You have written such a compelling scene. Not only Mrs Gardiner would have been proud of Elizabeth, her own mamma Bennet should be proud of her.

I love this story. I love everything that happened at the trial. Samuel John and Blackwell have no chance after Lizzy's testimony. No wonder they (or at least Blackwell) tried to kill her at Matlock.
