Col. Brandon & Elinor: Did Austen get the ending of Sense & Sensibility wrong? - 8 years ago
I've always felt that Col. Brandon and Elinor were better matched. They had a well established friendship (which is a much better foundation for love and affection) vs being attracted to someone who reminds you of your lost love (Col Brandon & Marianne). I find the romance of Col Brandon and Marianne to be superficial and shallow. Personally I could not be flattered by a man who only liked mby Kaydee - Tea Room

Do Not Archive/ Author’s Note: Sigh, we have come to the end of the journey. I am more than a little sad. Perhaps things have been resolved too fast, but I hope the resolution is satisfying enough for my readers. Col. Fitzwilliam and Lady Grace have been a delight to write. Inquiring minds want to know. In fanfiction Colonel Fitzwilliam is often given the first name Richard. I do not believe Austen herself ever actually gave the Colonel a first name. Why is Richard usually the first name given to Colonel Fitzwilliam? Is there any other first names you prefer for Colonel Fitzwilliam? Look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.by Kaydee - Tea Room

It seems Hallmark is doing a modern version of Pride and Prejudice. It is titled Unleashing Mr. Darcy. It premieres January 23rd 9/8 central. It looks cute. Who will be watching?
