Oh, frabjous day! So glad to see this here. I JUST recommended your Traveling by Post to someone. Hugs. Hope you are well. Megby Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
HA! Love your story just as it is, Suzanne. Hilarious. Although I thought it was going to be Mary with a big brass Buddha (that's what I was picturing at least), but Jane is funnier.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Lovely as always.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Snort.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Ha! The Bingsleys! Too fun.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Exactly! But very fun. I like this "totally out of character" idea.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I haven't been around for a while. So glad I stopped by. Love Persuasion and this was charming.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
HAHAHAHA! Glad Charlotte has sons to deal with the entail. And sweet that she named her daughter Elizabeth.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
HA! Bingley the sought becomes Bingley the seeker. What fun. Thanks, Sandy!by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
"You are certain you cannot?" Darcy said in a warm, deep tone. For extra measure, he gave Elizabeth a serious—and, he hoped, unmistakable—look. Ah, and what a deep, warm tone he has. *shivery delicious*by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Ahhh....and now I find the end. How satisfying to read the end before the beginning which is really the end!by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Oooh! I like this beginning. Always room for more Persuasion on the board!by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
YAYAYAY! So happy to have a happy, purrrfect ending for these two. And extremely excited to hear that you will be writing more. I want an update on LJ about RL too! Megby Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Combe Magna Carta . *dies* The Dashwood girls have hidden depths!by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
oooooh....this is definitely the beginning of something long and chapter-filled and Turtledovian!by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Ha. Does she shoot him and THEN drown him?by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
"I will accompany you to Meryton myself and help you sort out the dreadful situation that seems to have befallen this Longbourn mansion." The flaw in the plan! But a good flaw--they are alone togetherby Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
YES! A sequel. Too fun. I totally thought it was going to be Georgiana in need of chaperonage. "By Messrs Fitzwilliam Richard Darcy & Richard Darcy Fitzwilliam." Ha.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
These need to be much more frequent so my middle-aged brain can keep them all straight. If I were super-important, like Ash, I would have them all on a chart in my phone, but then I would forget it and have to do a complete re-read not only of all the #lindorabble stories but also of all of Shem's stories, too. Oh! Good idea, that.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I enjoyed it very much...but I don't think you should lengthen it if you don't want to. We readers can be rather demanding, but you don't owe us anything. Thanks for posting. I'll have to watch for your name for future MP stories. It's always nice for a change.by Meg E - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Very coolby Meg E - Tea Room
Yay! Pro-tip: If you buy the Kindle (on sale or not) first, the Audible Audiobook is only $4.95. $7 for both! Wonderful.by Meg E - Tea Room
Has anyone else read this? One reviewer (maybe more) has compared it to Austen in that it is a comedy of manners set in an English village. It is contemporary, however, so it has elements such as racism/race relations that Austen dealt with only in a very cursory way (e.g. Gypsies in Emma). The author talks about "passion rooted in friendship" being a kind of recipe for relational success, whby Meg E - JAFF Library
I was tempted to register just as "Meg" to squat on the name, but I played nice and registered with my well-known Meg E (when I started, I swear there was a just Meg, but she has never shown up since, so I'm stuck with Meg E now). Also, a question: will the story threads be the same, or are we going to a system like some other sites where all story posts are kept in the same thread and commentsby Meg E - Tea Room
