Edmund and Fanny are pretty miserable, aren't they? Do do Mary credit, she certainly doesn't want to make them miserable. She's quite mortified that Edmund is so unhappy with her, and has no idea at all that she's making Fanny unhappy. She just thinks her way of seeing the world is indisputably correct, and can't understand why they don't see things the way she does. Thanks!
